Report Toolkit — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Report Toolkit is a browser extension that helps Salesforce users find, preview, export, and check the data quality of Salesforce Reports.

1. Information the extension processes

Depending on how you use the extension, Report Toolkit may process information associated with your Salesforce account and the reports you access, including:

2. How information is used

Information is processed only to provide the extension's functionality, including authenticating the user, accessing the user's authorized Salesforce organization, finding and viewing reports, exporting report data, checking data quality, remembering extension preferences, and providing local troubleshooting information.

3. Salesforce authentication

Report Toolkit uses Salesforce OAuth authentication. The extension does not ask users to provide their Salesforce password to the extension itself. Authentication is performed through Salesforce, and the extension receives the authorization information necessary to make authorized requests to the user's Salesforce organization.

4. Salesforce data

Report Toolkit communicates directly with the Salesforce organization authorized by the user. Report data is retrieved from the user's Salesforce organization and processed by the extension to provide its features.

5. Local storage

Authentication/session information, extension settings, report-related preferences, and diagnostic information may be stored locally using the browser extension's local storage facilities. This information is used to maintain the extension's functionality between sessions and to support troubleshooting.

6. Developer-operated servers

The current version of Report Toolkit does not operate a developer-owned backend that automatically collects or centrally stores Salesforce report data, authentication tokens, or local diagnostic logs. The extension does not automatically upload these items to the developer.

7. Diagnostic logs

Diagnostic logs are maintained locally for troubleshooting. If a user chooses to export or manually submit diagnostic information through a feedback or support channel, that information may be transmitted to the destination selected by the user.

8. Feedback and support

The extension may provide feedback options such as reporting a bug, requesting a feature, providing general feedback, or indicating willingness to pay. These options may open an email or an external feedback form configured by the developer. Information submitted through those channels is handled according to the relevant destination's privacy practices.

9. Data sharing and sale

Report Toolkit does not sell users' Salesforce data or use it for advertising. The extension does not intentionally share Salesforce report data or authentication information with third parties for unrelated purposes.

10. Data retention and deletion

Local extension data remains on the user's device until it is cleared by the user, removed by the extension, or otherwise deleted through the browser's extension-data controls. Users can also disconnect the Salesforce account through the extension where that functionality is provided.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data practices change. The latest version will be published at this URL with an updated date.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or support requests, contact the developer using the support contact provided in the extension's store listing.
